Honeywell arranged the sale of a division which develops mobility, scanning and data capture technologies, advancing a portfolio rationalisation programme and netting itself $1.4 billion in cash if the deal passes customary regulatory scrutiny. International ID and protection systems maker Brady Corp is the buyer selected for the Productivity Solutions and Services (PSS) business: Honeywell expects the sale to complete in the second half of the year. The PSS unit’s wares are used in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, retail and healthcare sectors, Honeywell stated. Vimal Kapur, chair and CEO, said Honeywell is “nearing completion of our multi-year portfolio transformation”, referring to the PSS deal and preparations to split its Aerospace and Automation units into separate, public companies. The PSS division currently sits in the company’s Industrial Automation business unit, but Kapur explained the sale would boost Honeywell’s “financial and operational focus” on its core businesses, and bring Brady’s “highly complementary and specialised leadership” to bear for its former branch. Honeywell’s rejig involved the sale of its Personal Protective Equipment business in 2024 and the spin-off of the Advanced Materials division as Solstice Advanced Materials late in 2025. It also completed $14 billion-worth of acquisitions expected to bolster its remaining portfolio. The post Honeywell agrees $1.4B productivity unit sale appeared first on Mobile World Live .
